Sean Tinnelly Joins DG Media Network as Head of Ad Sales

Dollar General Media Network (DGMN) announces that Sean Tinnelly has joined the Company as Head of Ad Sales. In this role, Sean will lead the sales organization, driving strategic growth, cultivating strong client partnerships and empowering a high-performing team to accelerate the continued expansion of DGMN.

Sean brings a diverse background and strong track record of success to DGMN. Prior to joining Dollar General, he led the Pantry business at Walmart Connect, where he worked closely with internal leadership, suppliers and agency partners to develop and execute impactful retail media strategies. His career also includes leadership roles at Smaato, Rakuten Marketing and eBay, where he consistently exceeded revenue goals, optimized go-to-market strategies and fostered collaborative, results-driven cultures.

Sean earned his Bachelor of Science in broadcast journalism from West Virginia University.

Sean lives in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania with his wife of 13 years, Lauren, their son Kellan, and daughter Chloe. As a family, they enjoy cheering on the Phillies, Eagles and Jets, spending time outdoors and exploring the historic charm of their local community.
